Според Любо Пъпката, Христо Грозев имал намерение да продаде своя дял от изданията на пресгрупата на депутата от ДПС и по този начин да го превърне в абсолютен господар на печатната преса.
Ударът срещу „24 часа“ и „Труд“ идва в момент на сериозно изпитание за двата ежедневника. На фона на сриващите се тиражи, в най- скоро време се очаква излизането на новия вестник „Трибуна“, чийто главен редактор е Тошо Тошев. След като напусна „Труд“, агент Бор премина към конкуренцията от „Нова медийна група“, зад която стоят Делян Пеевски и Ирена Кръстева.
